Our client, a company located in Dungannon, are recruiting an experienced Buyer.
Your new role
Manage a list of key/strategic suppliers
Assist the Inventory Planner in Setting Inventory Levels across multiple sites
Measure Supplier Delivery Performance & develop actions to improve.
Oversee spares spend analysis and work with internal teams to identify cost down & resourcing opportunities. As a Super-User in our ERP system you will train TMs and develop process and system enhancements.
Work with the commodity team to develop relationships with suppliers incl SLA
Resolving invoice queries Cover for the Supplychain Manager in times of absence v Develop & support initiatives to improve department KPI's Experience and Qualifications
What you'll need to succeed
Educated to a minimum of GCSE Standard or equivalent
Experience of a Purchasing role gained within a busy office environment
Good general IT & Microsoft skills especially Excel
Ability to organise and prioritise workload using your own initiative to meet deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Self-motivated and high energy
You must also be able to demonstrate that you are a customer focused individual with the energy, drive and commitment to make it happen.
Ability to work within a team
Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities
Action Orientated and results driven.
Excellent verbal and written skills
Highest level of integrity, honesty and trust v Good communication and teamworking skills
