Hays Accountancy and Finance are recruiting on behalf of a public sector organisation based in greater Belfast. This organisation is highly innovative and offers an extremely stimulating working environment. This organisation is currently going through a period of system change and are seeking to appoint on a project basis for a Payroll Project Officer.
Your new role
The position will commence immediately for a minimum period of six months, the post will combine payroll and pensions processing and administration combines with system project management.
To include, the following duties:
Preparation of payroll and pensions, assistance with monthly processing and statutory returns to the Inland Revenue.
System Implementation & Project Management
To contribute to the project management of the voluntary exit scheme, liaising with the new payroll system provider and to carry out any data cleansing required.
What you'll need to succeed
The Successful candidate ideally must have successfully completed a professional examination ( CIPP or a Diploma in Payroll Management) AND 1 year's experience of managing and processing payroll.
3 years experience in managing and processing payroll to include pension schemes.
Proven experience in the implementation of a new payroll system
